Miriam Rejas Del Pino

Miriam Rejas del Pino is a curator and researcher born in Barcelona and based in Venice. She holds a PhD in Art Theory and Visual Semiotics from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (2025), with a visiting period at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales (EHESS) in Paris. She currently oversees the curatorial programme, research projects, and public programming of the non-profit De Santillana Stichting in Venice. From October 2026, she will be a Curatorial Fellow at the Real Academia de España en Roma.

Working across exhibition-making and academic research, her practice investigates the exhibition as a site for producing situated knowledge, forms of relation, and alternative ways of reading art and history. She develops long-term research projects that unfold into exhibitions, public encounters, and publications.

Her projects move across questions of images, identity and memory, the activation of archives and collections, and, more recently, play as a mode of inquiry and curatorial experimentation. Across these different lines of research, she is interested in constructing plural and transhistorical genealogies that unsettle established categories of interpretation.
